My name on this blog is "Multi-Tasking Mommy" or MTM. I am 33 years young. I honestly don't' believe that age is a number so much as it is how you feel. I am married to SciFi Dad. I have two incredible children: a 4 year old daughter (Bunny) and a 9 month old son (Little Man).
I am Canadian.
I am a former Kindergarten teacher. Although I loved teaching, I made the decision to become a stay at home Mom (SAHM) so that I can solely focus on my family.
There really is no typical day for me other than the fact that I am usually awake by 5:30 and out of bed around 6-6:30 depending on the day. I feed solid food to Little Man for a few hours each day (the meals seem to go on and on, but it's fun!) and I also nurse every few hours during the day. I play with the kids. We got outside to get fresh air, we go to various classes and activities at the Early Years Centre and the library and we do our errands. The Bunny and I enjoy to bake together, so we will often make muffins or something together too.
A typical night for me, after the kids are in bed (although Little Man only stays in his bed for a couple of hours at a time still) would be a little bit of computer time (or a lot depending on the day), sometimes a nighttime walk to clear my head and get some exercise, watching some tv or a movie with my hubby and occasionally I'll bake a little something. I also enjoy reading my magazines (I get Today's Parent and Chatelaine right now). I love to read books, but have a difficult time staying focused on them as I'm so exhausted come night time.
I love organizing and have been called a creative, crafty gal.
I love to sing and enjoy music of many genres. I grew up playing the piano until I left home for University. I also played the clarinet amongst many other instruments.
I'm a very open and honest person. I like to share my ideas, thoughts, experiences and opinions and I also like to learn about yours! There isn't anything you can't ask me, I don't keep secrets and I am more than willing to share with others.
That's me in a nutshell, as my hubby would say.

Congratulations on your decision to stay at home with your children. As a Kindergarten teacher myself, I made the same decision and have always been thankful for doing so-!
